Management outlook

Management reiterated FY2026 guidance for organic revenue growth of 1% to 2% and non-GAAP EPS of $2.10 to $2.15 (15% to 17% growth), while lowering the FX tailwind assumption to 0.5% from 1.5%. What analysts asked

On the tariff refund treatment, some peers are calling it a pass-through with no net impact. What is embedded in the tariff refund in the second half and for the full year guide?

Gerald explained that some tariff elements were charged to customers, resulting in a contra revenue element. The EPS benefit of roughly 200 bps in Q2 was pulled forward from Q3/Q4, but overall the tariff refunds were already baked into the original guidance model.

Organic was lighter than expected, especially in BSI. Was there anything unusual in the quarter?

Frank cited the combined effect of tariff refunds (60 bps) and lower FX tailwind (50 bps) as the main drags, but the biggest revenue weakness was U.S. aca/gov, which was down more than $15 million YoY due to weak orders in H2 2025.

Was the strength in security detection and energy research orders expected? How sustainable is it into 2027?

Frank said security detection was incrementally better than expected but partly baked in, and looks sustainable given defense concerns. Energy research greatly exceeded expectations with orders up over 100%, and while that growth rate isn't sustainable, the business has multi-year visibility with orders extending into 2027-2029.
