RFIL’s small EPS miss does not have confirmed direct supplier or customer ties to larger AI infrastructure names in our relationship data; we would not extend it as a read-across to the silicon, power, or networking complex.
What's happening

Flex formalized the separation of its cloud and power infrastructure business. FLEX (Flex Ltd.) announced the expected CFO and board composition for Flex and the planned spin-off, named the new company for its cloud and power infrastructure segment, and filed a Form 10 registration statement. The filing moves the separation from plan to regulatory process and gives investors a clearer view of a standalone entity centered on power infrastructure for cloud and AI capacity.

X-energy’s Xe-100 advanced reactor is moving into UK regulatory design review. XE (X-Energy, Inc. Class A Common Stock) said UK regulators will begin design review for its Xe-100 reactor, with partner support.

AI-scale connectivity is the theme at this week’s optical and infrastructure events. TSEM (Tower Semiconductor Ltd.) and MTSI (MACOM Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc.) are highlighting silicon photonics and high-speed connectivity technologies at ECOC 2026. The focus is on optical and electrical links for next-generation AI clusters, where bandwidth density and power per bit are primary constraints.

HIVE’s BUZZ HPC added capital markets expertise for Canadian AI infrastructure expansion. HIVE (HIVE Digital Technologies Ltd.) appointed Hubert Marleau as an independent director of BUZZ HPC, bringing capital markets experience as the company works to support Canadian AI infrastructure growth.

Supply chain read-through · News
X-energy’s UK design review may support longer-term demand for advanced reactor supply chains. Component and materials names such as ATI (ATI Inc.) and BWXT (BWX Technologies, Inc.) are relevant examples, though we do not have confirmed direct supplier links to X-energy.
Tower Semiconductor’s and MACOM’s silicon photonics and high-speed connectivity momentum may benefit broader optical, packaging, and test ecosystems. Examples such as AMAT (Applied Materials, Inc.) and TER (Teradyne, Inc.) may have exposure if merchant silicon photonics scales, though those relationships are not confirmed.
On watch

No major universe earnings are on the current confirmed schedule this week; the watchlist is built around company-specific catalysts.

WOR (Worthington Industries, Inc.) reports on 2026-09-22 as the highest-importance upcoming universe reporting item. No confirmed estimates or specific relationship read-throughs are available in the current data, so the watch item is centered on the report date and any company updates.

Company-specific catalysts include the Form 10 details from FLEX, ECOC connectivity presentations from TSEM and MTSI, and the beginning of the UK regulatory timeline for XE.
