Stocks pushed higher Friday — the S&P 500 added 0.61% to close at 773.26, and the Nasdaq-100 gained 1.17% to 723.03. The 524 AI infrastructure stocks we track again outpaced the broad market, with 363 names advancing against 156 decliners and an average gain of 2.01%, a 1.40 percentage-point advantage over the S&P. Natural resources led all segments with a +8.82% average, while operators were the softest at +0.27%. WWR soared 87.8% on the day; LASR fell 25.6%. A heavy earnings calendar awaits the week ahead: CRWV (CoreWeave, Inc.) and LITE (Lumentum Holdings Inc.) report Tuesday, COHR (Coherent, Inc.), NBIS (Nebius Group N.V.), and CBRS (Cerebras Systems Inc.) follow on Wednesday, and AMAT (Applied Materials, Inc.) closes the week on Thursday. On the macro front, July CPI drops Wednesday, PPI on Thursday, and Michigan consumer sentiment on Friday.
ACM Research reported second-quarter 2026 results and announced the expansion of its Ultra C Tahoe platform into a broader wet-processing family. The expansion positions the company to compete more directly with wet-bench product lines from AMAT (Applied Materials, Inc.) and LRCX (Lam Research Corporation), both confirmed competitors of ACM Research.
Celestica completed a marketed equity offering and disclosed the signing of a material agreement in an 8-K filing. No further details were provided in the headline announcements.
CoreWeave reports Tuesday. As a pure-play GPU cloud provider operating one of the largest fleets of NVIDIA H100 and B100 accelerators, CRWV (CoreWeave, Inc.) results are a direct read on AI compute utilization, on-demand instance pricing, and the pace of capacity absorption by model-training and inference workloads. Lease commitments, capital spending outlook, and any commentary on supply-chain constraints for next-generation GPUs will be closely tracked.
Coherent reports Wednesday. The company is a bellwether for datacom optics and compound-semiconductor laser components — both categories that have seen demand accelerate with 800G and 1.6T optical transceiver deployments inside AI clusters. The call is expected to provide an update on wafer-scale indium phosphide production yields and the timing of the shift to 200G-per-lane VCSELs, which are central to next-generation switch-to-server links.
Nebius reports Wednesday. The Amsterdam-based AI infrastructure cloud provider has been building a footprint across GPU compute, managed Kubernetes, and AI-native developer tools. Its results will offer a window into enterprise GPU adoption outside the U.S. hyperscaler ecosystem, as well as the unit economics of renting NVIDIA H200 and B200 instances in a market where private AI-cloud operators are scaling rapidly.
Applied Materials reports Thursday. As the largest semiconductor equipment manufacturer by revenue, AMAT (Applied Materials, Inc.) report will be a pivotal signal for wafer fab equipment spending across logic, DRAM, and NAND. Market attention will focus on its outlook for the second half of calendar 2026 — specifically, whether memory customers are sustaining the capex upswing driven by high-bandwidth memory capacity additions, and whether foundry/logic spending is broadening beyond the leading-edge gate-all-around nodes that have dominated recent investment.
Existing Home Sales MoM (Jul) leads the macro calendar this week.
