Our 524-stock AI infrastructure universe outpaced the benchmarks, rising an average of 2.01% with 363 names advancing, 156 declining, and 5 unchanged — a 1.40-percentage-point beat relative to SPY. Natural Resources led all segments at +8.82%, while Operators were the weakest at +0.27%. WWR (Westwater Resources) surged 87.8% on the day, and LASR (nLIGHT) fell 25.6% as the biggest decliner. The week ahead brings results from Nebius Group, CoreWeave, Lumentum, Super Micro, Coherent, and Applied Materials, among a heavier earnings slate.

What reported

ROAD (Construction Partners) reported fiscal third-quarter EPS of $1.08, topping the $1.01 consensus, and shares jumped 19.5% on the session.

FLR (Fluor) delivered second-quarter EPS of $0.91, well above the $0.70 estimate. The engineering and construction firm’s stock was not a notable top mover despite the beat.

ACMR (ACM Research) posted second-quarter EPS of $0.61, exceeding the $0.42 estimate. The company also announced an expansion of its Ultra C Tahoe wet-processing platform.

ATMU (Atmus Filtration Technologies) recorded EPS of $0.82, a $0.04 beat relative to the $0.78 estimate.

OKLO (Oklo) reported a second-quarter loss of $0.28 per share, wider than the estimated $0.16 loss. The nuclear SMR developer’s stock was not among the day’s top losers.

CLMT (Calumet) swung to a loss of $1.09 per share, missing the $0.07 estimate by a wide margin.

PPL (PPL Corporation) posted EPS of $0.33, missing the $0.34 estimate by a penny.

VST (Vistra) reported EPS of $0.76, well below the $1.61 consensus, and the shares were not among the day’s notable decliners.

Supply chain read-through · Earnings
ROAD’s strong quarter could be a positive signal for construction activity broadly, potentially benefiting related infrastructure names such as ACA (Arcosa) and other heavy-civil contractors.
ACMR’s beat and wet-processing platform expansion may indicate sustained demand for advanced wafer fabrication equipment — a dynamic that could also favor larger competitors such as AMAT (Applied Materials) and LRCX (Lam Research).
FLR’s upside surprise points to healthy execution in large-scale engineering projects; companies such as GVA (Granite Construction) and other EPC-focused firms may see similar tailwinds.
OKLO’s wider loss does not appear to have derailed the nuclear SMR narrative, but it could keep attention on the pace of regulatory and project milestones at peers such as XE (X-Energy) and IMSR (Terrestrial Energy).
What’s happening

INTC (Intel) announced a leadership appointment to strengthen customer engagement and accelerate growth. The chipmaker named a new senior executive tasked with deepening relationships with cloud and enterprise clients as it works to regain momentum in the data-center segment. The move comes against a backdrop of aggressive competition from AMD and a market increasingly favoring custom silicon.

CLS (Celestica) completed an equity offering. The manufacturing-services company closed a previously disclosed equity raise, which provides additional capital for capacity expansions tied to AI server and networking programs. Celestica has been a key partner for hyperscale and OEM customers scaling up AI hardware.

FLEX (Flex) disclosed shareholder vote results and other material events. The 8-K filing did not detail the nature of the vote, but Flex remains a significant advanced-manufacturing partner for data-center infrastructure, including power and cooling assemblies.

Supply chain read-through · News
INTC (Intel)’s leadership refresh could, if successful, translate into a more aggressive roadmap for foundry and advanced packaging engagements — potentially supporting equipment and materials demand at firms such as AMAT and LRCX.
Celestica’s equity offering reinforces the capital-intensive nature of scaling AI manufacturing capacity; this could benefit component and subsystem suppliers that feed into its assembly lines — companies such as FLEX and JBL (Jabil) operate in similar ecosystems.
LASR (nLIGHT)’s sharp sell-off may reflect concern over the near-term demand environment for optical components used in industrial and semiconductor applications; it could also raise questions about upcoming demand signals at peers like COHR (Coherent) and LITE (Lumentum), which report this week.
On watch

NBIS (Nebius Group) reports on Wednesday. The AI-focused cloud and compute platform has been expanding its GPU infrastructure, and the results will provide a read on hyperscale-level GPU utilization rates and pricing trends — key inputs for the compute-layer names across our universe.

CRWV (CoreWeave) reports Tuesday. As a leading GPU-centric cloud provider, CoreWeave’s revenue trajectory and capex commentary are closely watched for signals on the pace of AI infrastructure buildout, with implications for networking and server supply chains.

SMCI (Super Micro Computer) reports Tuesday. Super Micro’s results and bill-of-materials trends offer a direct window into demand for AI servers, liquid cooling, and high-speed interconnects; the call could move names across the Servers & Compute and Cooling segments.

AMAT (Applied Materials) reports Thursday. As the world’s largest semiconductor equipment supplier, Applied Materials’ orders and outlook are a broad barometer for fab investment activity — a critical signal for the silicon and chip-making portions of the AI supply chain.
