Written before the market opens. Every price and move in this brief is as of the close on Friday, Sep 18; company pages show live prices. The Buildout is a website built on agentic AI tools, currently in beta, and could have factual errors.
SPY closed at $761.69, down 0.12% on the session, while QQQ added 0.63% to $721.45. The 523 AI infrastructure stocks we track outperformed the broad tape by 62 basis points, with an average move of +0.50%; 264 names advanced, 253 declined, and 6 finished flat. Operators led the segment stack at +3.96%, while power generation lagged at -1.95%. The standout mover was BTDR (Bitdeer Technologies Group) at +15.4%; the largest decliner was SMR (NuScale Power Corporation) at -8.6%. The week’s earnings calendar is light: CHRN (ChronoScale Corporation) reports Monday, WOR (Worthington Industries, Inc.) Tuesday, and SNX (TD Synnex Corp) and UEC (Uranium Energy Corp.) Thursday.
Optical interconnect vendors are pressing the 1.6T AI scale-out narrative ahead of ECOC 2026. CRDO (Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd) said it will showcase 1.6T optical connectivity solutions for AI scale-out fabrics at the conference. The release centers on high-bandwidth, low-power links for large GPU clusters. No financial figures accompanied the announcement, but it extends Credo’s positioning around AI cluster interconnect.
Keysight will demonstrate end-to-end test solutions for scaling AI infrastructure at ECOC 2026. KEYS (Keysight Technologies, Inc.) announced the demonstration on Sept. 20. The company is framing the effort around validation and test of high-speed interconnects, the layer that supports 1.6T optical and datacenter deployments as AI cluster bandwidth requirements rise.
CoreWeave priced an upsized $3.7 billion convertible senior notes offering. CRWV (CoreWeave, Inc. Class A Common Stock) announced the pricing on Sept. 18. The upsized deal adds to CoreWeave’s financing base as it continues to scale AI cloud capacity. The company operates large-scale GPU compute infrastructure, making the financing a capital-markets data point for the operator segment.
SNX reports Thursday and is a closely watched print on this week’s calendar, with an EPS estimate of $4.68. TD Synnex is a large IT distributor, so its update will be a proxy for enterprise demand across servers, storage, and networking gear used in AI infrastructure. The key items to watch are commentary on AI-related hardware inventories, order backlogs, and any shift in data center equipment demand.
CHRN reports Monday with an EPS estimate of -$0.0321. ChronoScale is a newly formed AI compute platform following its reverse merger, so the print provides an early look at its compute operations, cash position, and execution as a small-cap operator in AI infrastructure.
WOR reports Tuesday with an EPS estimate of $0.751. Worthington’s steel processing and building products exposure makes the release a secondary read on industrial and construction demand, including any commentary tied to data center-related construction activity.
UEC reports Thursday with an EPS estimate of -$0.03862. Uranium Energy Corp. sits at the fuel-supply layer of the nuclear power story, and its update will be watched for any signal on uranium demand as advanced reactors and SMR projects tied to AI power procurement remain a focus across the power generation segment.
