The tape

Markets were mixed — SPY slipped 0.12% to $761.69, while QQQ gained 0.63% to $721.45. The 523 AI infrastructure stocks we track outperformed the broad tape, up 0.50% on average with 264 names advancing, 253 declining, and 6 flat — a 0.62-point relative edge over SPY. Operators led the segment stack at +3.96%, while power generation lagged at -1.95%. The standout mover was BTDR (Bitdeer Technologies Group) at +15.4%; the biggest decliner was SMR (NuScale Power Corporation) at -8.6%. Today’s calendar includes CHRN (ChronoScale Corporation) reporting. The heavier earnings prints arrive later this week: SNX (TD Synnex Corp) on Thursday, UEC (Uranium Energy Corp.) on Thursday, and WOR (Worthington Industries, Inc.) on Tuesday.

What's happening

KGS (Kodiak Gas Services, Inc.) announced a power supply agreement with a West Texas data center. The release does not specify capacity, term, or offtake pricing, but it marks another case of an energy services firm pairing natural gas infrastructure with compute loads. The announcement fits the broader pattern of gas-fired generation being used as a nearer-term power option for data centers in tight interconnection environments.

AMRC (Ameresco, Inc.) and IMSR (Terrestrial Energy Inc.) said they will deliver IMSR advanced nuclear power to the U.S. Army’s Aberdeen Proving Ground. Ameresco also announced selection for U.S. Army Strategic Capital Initiatives at Aberdeen Proving Ground and Picatinny Arsenal. The effort is federal energy resilience work rather than a hyperscale data-center deal, but it pulls advanced nuclear generation into a government procurement channel.

At ECOC 2026, optical connectivity suppliers made a coordinated push around AI infrastructure. COHR (Coherent Corp.) highlighted optical innovations to scale AI infrastructure; LITE (Lumentum Holdings Inc.) and GLW (Corning Inc.) demonstrated high-density 1060 nm VCSEL optical die-to-die connectivity for AI scale-up; MRVL (Marvell Technology, Inc.) said it would show 2nm optical technology demos for AI data center infrastructure; SMTC (Semtech Corporation) advanced 50G optical transition and AI optical interconnects; and KEYS (Keysight Technologies, Inc.), with TeraSignal, said it would demonstrate CMIS Link Training at OIF Booth #2126. The common thread is higher-density optical links across both scale-up and scale-out AI networks.

Supply chain read-through · News
Kodiak Gas Services’ West Texas data center agreement could reinforce demand for gas-fired power systems and electrical infrastructure around data center sites. Providers such as NVT (nVent Electric plc) are examples of companies exposed to that power-delivery stack, though they are not confirmed counterparties to Kodiak.
Ameresco and Terrestrial Energy’s Army advanced nuclear award may add federal validation to the small modular reactor and advanced nuclear supply chain. Public-market expressions of that theme include names such as UEC, which reports this week, and advanced reactor developers such as SMR, though no direct supplier relationship is being claimed.
The ECOC optical demo slate keeps the AI interconnect pipeline visible. Coherent has confirmed supply relationships with NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation), so its AI optical demos are directly relevant to that confirmed relationship. Broader adoption of high-density VCSEL and optical interconnect links could also support test and component providers such as KEYS (Keysight Technologies, Inc.), LITE (Lumentum Holdings Inc.), and GLW (Corning Inc.), though those are read-throughs rather than confirmed contract links.
On watch

CHRN (ChronoScale Corporation) reports today with an EPS estimate of -$0.06. No actual results are available yet, so the report will be watched for its initial actual print.

SNX (TD Synnex Corp) reports Thursday with an EPS estimate of $4.64. As a major IT distributor, its guide and demand commentary can serve as a barometer for enterprise AI server, storage, and networking hardware moving through distribution.

WOR (Worthington Industries, Inc.) reports Tuesday with an EPS estimate of $0.751, and UEC (Uranium Energy Corp.) reports Thursday with an EPS estimate of -$0.04. UEC is the more direct AI infrastructure read-through because uranium and nuclear fuel supply remain central to the advanced nuclear and power resilience projects now flowing through utility and federal procurement.
