The tape

SPY closed Friday at $765.72, up 0.41%, while QQQ added 0.35% to $713.44. Our 523-company AI infrastructure universe underperformed the broad benchmark by 5 basis points, with an average move of +0.36%; 276 names advanced, 240 declined, and 7 finished flat. Natural resources led the segment stack at +6.13%, driven by uranium and rare earth strength, while operators lagged at -1.71%. The standout gainer was CRML (Critical Metals Corp.) at +22.6%, and the biggest decliner was HUT (Hut 8 Corp.) at -8.8%. Reporting resumes Monday with SHMD (SCHMID Group N.V. Class A Ordinary Shares) and GRRR (Gorilla Technology Group Inc.), then turns heavier midweek with NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation), SNPS (Synopsys, Inc.), and DY (Dycom Industries, Inc.) on Wednesday, and IREN (IREN Limited) and MRVL (Marvell Technology, Inc.) on Thursday.

What's happening

WYFI (WhiteFiber, Inc. Ordinary Shares) closed an upsized $310.0 million convertible senior notes offering. WhiteFiber’s capital raise adds to the series of network-oriented financings across the Buildout universe.

CLF (Cleveland-Cliffs Inc.) announced a $1 billion Middletown Works investment supported by a $500 million U.S. Department of Energy award. The release did not specify product lines, but the award is consistent with federal support for domestic electrical infrastructure and manufacturing capacity.

BIP (Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P.) announced a $100 million preferred unit issuance. The capital raise points to ongoing funding demand across infrastructure platforms.

Supply chain read-through · News
WhiteFiber’s upsized convertible note could point to incremental fiber construction activity, which may create additional bidding opportunities for telecom and utility contractors such as DY (Dycom Industries, Inc.), though no direct contract relationship is confirmed.
Cleveland-Cliffs’ DOE-backed Middletown Works investment, if it expands electrical steel capacity, could ease supply constraints for grid equipment and power systems names such as VRT (Vertiv Holdings Co) and EOSE (Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc.), though no direct customer link is disclosed.
Brookfield Infrastructure’s preferred unit issuance may support additional infrastructure projects; EPC and power equipment firms such as AGX (Argan, Inc.) could benefit from that activity, but no contract relationship is confirmed.
On watch

CHRN (ChronoScale Corporation) reports Monday with EPS estimate of -$0.0626. No actual results have been reported yet.

NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) reports Wednesday with consensus EPS of $2.09. The print is a key readout for accelerator demand, networking attach rates, and the trajectory of the broader AI compute buildout. Data center revenue and supply commentary will be the focal points.

SNPS (Synopsys, Inc.) reports Wednesday with EPS estimate of $3.67. As a leading EDA vendor, its results and backlog commentary should provide a direct check on chip design activity across the AI silicon pipeline, including custom accelerators and advanced packaging design.

MRVL (Marvell Technology, Inc.) reports Thursday with consensus EPS of $0.931. The company’s custom AI silicon and optical DSP franchise makes the print a direct read on custom accelerator programs and data center interconnect demand. The stock fell 5.6% Friday, so the report will also test sentiment across silicon design names.

IREN (IREN Limited) reports Thursday with consensus EPS of -$0.55401. The print matters for how AI compute operators are pricing capacity, securing power, and funding buildouts. Other high-importance reporters this week include DY (Dycom Industries, Inc.) Wednesday with EPS estimate $4.72, SHMD (SCHMID Group N.V. Class A Ordinary Shares) Monday with no formal estimate, CSIQ (Canadian Solar Inc.) Thursday with EPS estimate -$1.01, PLAB (Photronics, Inc.) Wednesday with EPS estimate $0.4033, and P (Everpure, Inc.) Wednesday with EPS estimate $0.58.
